Sitting Dancer

Tann is slowly morphing away from the SWRPG and into her own unique universe. Its awesome! Anywho, I'm impatient by nature, so I was really proud of this one because I forced myself to focus, stop, and then re attack the drawing. Not an easy feat. Anywho, sketched in pencil, painted in elements using a small bamboo tablet.

That thing is a God sent.

I'm always scheming something new when it comes to art. Though conceptuals done in ink, pencil, digital, or an odd assortment of all of the above ARE my favorites, it doesn't mean its all I do. I love painting minitures and will hopefully be able to post some of my watercolor work when the semester is through! Beyond that, I'm happily married, slightly mental (but what artist isn't), and enjoy SW, Role plays, comics, video games, the normal geeky stuff.

Nothing says instagasmariffic like finding out your husband's work does Legal sized scanning for $.25 a sheet. I got a cheap Legal sized pad from Wal-Mart while I was in San Antonio, only to remember when I got home that I lack a legal sized scanner. Hence the lack of artwork. But all is not lost since I found out that even a starving artist can afford Staples scanning prices!

Its gray scale inks, which is steadily becoming the usual. I'm sniffing out some different colors today in hopes, such high hopes, that more variety to my portfolio will at least bring something more than repeating ghosts (not that I mind you. In fact that triple digit views makes me absolutely giddy).

Remember, I AM starving, so please feed the starving artist with comments and crits. ::runs tin cup across iron bars:: ::mookie eyes::
